Prany is currently the Director of Diversity Relations and educational programs, Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (OEOD), at the University of California, Irvine. He develops and oversees staff development training, especially in the area of diversity, cross-cultural communication, and conflict management. Many programs are extended to students and faculty. Prior to this assignment, he was Director of Health, Education, and Community Programs at the University Extension. Before joining the University of California in 1990, Mr. Sananikone worked extensively with community-based/non-profit organizations, developing educational and social services programs for refugees and immigrants. He has served and still working as consultant/trainer for law enforcement, medical, educational, social service agencies, and business corporations throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. His bachelor degrees are in Education (B.Ed.) and Community Development (B.A.), and his Masters degree is in Communication: Strategies and Planning, both from the University of Hawaii. He is an outdoor enthusiast, loves to eat, and dedicates his life to peace building and humanitarian work.
