Major: Biological Sciences
Biography: Besides DIM, I am involved with Free Clinic Project at UCI, Model United Nations (MUN), and a Professional Pre-medical fraternity. Outside of school, I a love to read and listen to music; I’m always building my little library or my record collection. I have a passion for the medical field and healthcare, and DIM has allowed me to explore that in a new setting.
What Diversity Means to Me: Diversity to me comes in many forms, but most especially in equal opportunity for all. I believe diversity is a term that describes the uniqueness of different cultures and societies, in a positive way. It encompasses the broad range of individuals that all need healthcare and support, and this course is a step towards understanding the different needs and struggles of the many unique groups of people there are.
