Name: Parker Jadwin
Year: 4th
Major: Human Biology
Bio: I am the president of UCI Sports Medicine Internship where we work alongside Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists and Physicians to return UCI’s injured Division-1 athletes near, if not at, game-ready condition. After three years in the program, this pointed me in the direction towards orthopedics/physical medicine and rehabilitation. Outside of class and extracurriculars, I have a deep-rooted passion for food and beverage. I also enjoy exercising to allow me to feed (pun intended) this drive for the consumption of all that is delicious.
What Diversity Means to Me: Diversity not only has the promise of the inclusion of everyone from all walks of life, but that their thoughts, opinions, desires, and expressions have meaning and significance. Every voice is valid because every individual has something to bring to the table. Diversity guarantees that no matter who you are, there is a welcoming environment that thrives on the altruism and cooperation of all individuals.
